Kristy Sisk Solo Show
We are proud to present the Princeton Art Guild’s May/June solo exhibition: For the Love of Art by local artist Kristy Sisk.
Sisk’s work is striking not only for its imagery but also for its unconventional medium: watercolor on canvas — a method that pushes the boundaries of a traditional medium and gives her paintings a distinctive richness and depth.
About the Artist
A lifelong painter, Kristy Sisk brings an introspective and heartfelt perspective to her art. Her work draws from everyday moments, the quiet strength of animals and people, and the resilience woven into the fabric of nature and community.
Kristy’s artistic journey has been uniquely shaped by her time as a NASCAR artist — a chapter that, she says, still influences the rhythm and care with which she approaches each piece today. Now working from her home studio in Princeton, she focuses on personal commissions and continues to explore themes of comfort, connection, and quiet resilience.

For the Love of Art
This exhibition invites viewers to slow down and appreciate the subtle but powerful connections that shape our lives. Through delicate yet bold watercolor portraits of animals and people, Kristy captures presence, personality, and quiet dignity — offering work that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Of her collection, Kristy writes:
“For the Love of Art is a collection born from a lifelong passion for painting and a deep appreciation for the quiet connections that shape us. I hope these paintings offer comfort, connection, and a reason to smile.”
